Juice Shot Recipes

Juice shots are the perfect way to increase nutrition and support your health

Have you ever had a juice shot at a local juice bar?  Our juice shot recipes will help you create your own wellness shooters right in your kitchen.  I would argue they are better than the juice bar juices.  They are easy to do, and easy to prep ahead of time for the week ahead.

Lemon & Ginger Juice Shots

lemon and ginger juice shots

These Lemon & Ginger Juice Shots are my go-to for digestion and inflammation.  Ginger has many benefits and a little goes a long way.  They are super easy to make and great to drink on an empty stomach every morning.

WHAT YOU NEED

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-5 medium lemons, juiced with peel
  • 1/2-1 cup coconut water
  • 2-4 inches fresh ginger root
  • Optional: sprinkle of cayenne pepper (careful though, this is HOT)

 DIRECTIONS

Juice these together, and add them to your shot bottles, but only half way.  Add the coconut water to fill it to the top.  Cap and shake to combine.  Save in the fridge or freeze for later use.

BENEFITS: These are perfect for reducing whole body inflammation & calming digestive issues, helps cleanse the colon and supports the liver. I have been having one of these EVERY morning for the last month and it's done wonders for my digestion.

Beet Juice Shot Recipes

If you're unsure if you like beet juice, but really want the benefits, try a beet juice shot.  I give you 3 to choose from here.  They are great for blood pressure, increasing blood flow within the body and athletic endurance and overall immune system.

WHAT YOU NEED

INGREDIENTS

Option 1 BEET & COCONUT JUICE SHOTS

  • 1/2-1 cup coconut water
  • 2 red beets

Option 2  BEET & LEMON JUICE SHOTS

  • 3 red beets
  • 1 lemon

Option 3  BEET & GINGER JUICE SHOTS

  • 3 red beets
  • 2 inch knob fresh ginger root

DIRECTIONS

Juice the produce together, and add them to your shot bottles. If using coconut water to make the shot milder, add half of the juice to the jars and add the coconut water on top.  Save in the fridge or freeze for later use.

BENEFITS: Because beets have nitrites and your body turns it into nitric oxide, they are excellent for regulating blood pressure.  They increase blood flow, so they also are good for runners, power lifters or any type of athletic endurance.

Celery Juice Shot Recipes

Celery is super popular right now, and for good reason.  When juiced, it's packs a potent nutritional punch that can help calm nerves & anxiety, stabilize blood pressure, replenish electrolytes and help with water weight & bloating.  A shot every morning is the perfect way to try out celery juice to see if it works for you.  I give you a few recipes if you prefer not to have straight celery juice.

Option 2  CELERY & LEMON JUICE SHOTS

Juice the produce together, and add them to your shot bottles. If using coconut water to make the shot milder, add half of the juice to the jars and add the coconut water on top.  Save in the fridge or freeze for later use.

BENEFITS: Celery juice is high in natural electrolytes so it's great for natural hydration and to replace them.  It has a calming effect and many people find that it helps to reduce stress and blood pressure.  It's also a diuretic which help to remove excess water weight and bloat.  Reduces inflammation, supports digestion.
